About this position
The University of Chicago is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow in computational and systems biology for a project on developing statistical, machine learning, and artificial intelligence methods to reconstruct and interpret gene regulatory networks.
The work will use computational approaches and high-dimensional biological data to advance network medicine and complex-systems research. The project is associated with PANDA and NetZoo, methodological frameworks for analyzing and interpreting gene regulatory relationships.
The fellow will work in the Laboratory for Network Medicine and Complex Systems within the Biological Sciences Division, under the supervision of Dr. John Quackenbush. The position offers a research environment at the intersection of computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, machine learning, and systems biology.
