About this position

Postdoctoral position in circular RNA biology, RNA biology, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) at the Institut Necker Enfants Malades (INEM) in Paris, France.

The Arbibe Laboratory is recruiting a motivated postdoctoral researcher to study how circRNAs and other non-canonical RNA species such as dsRNAs contribute to intestinal inflammation and epithelial repair. The project combines molecular and cellular approaches with intestinal organoids, mouse models, and human IBD samples.

This position is part of an ANR-funded consortium project, starts in February 2027, and is funded for 3 years. The salary is listed as €35,964/year gross (net about €29,724) on the Inserm postdoc scale, plus benefits including health insurance, pension, and a transport subsidy.

Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent in RNA biology, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, or a related discipline. Strong expertise in RNA biology is required, and hands-on experience with circRNA validation (divergent RT-PCR, RNase R resistance, back-splice junction sequencing) and functional characterization is mandatory. Experience with RIP-seq, CLIP/eCLIP-seq, epitranscriptomics, mouse models, or organoid culture would be an advantage. Candidates must have defended their PhD within the last 2 years at the time of application.

To apply, send a CV, a brief statement of previous research experience, and contact details for 2–3 references to [email protected].
