About this position
The Theory Group at the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE) is recruiting for two postdoctoral positions in theoretical particle physics and theoretical cosmology/gravitation, starting in Fall 2027.
The appointments are based at the UAB Campus in Barcelona within IFAE’s Theory Division. IFAE is a public consortium attached to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and works across theoretical, experimental, and technological high-energy physics. The selected researchers will join a theory environment focused on the Beyond the Standard Model and Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology research lines.
The advertised research themes include physics beyond the Standard Model, formal aspects of quantum field theory, gravitation, cosmology, and astroparticle physics. The post is associated with the members of the group, including D. Blas, E. Masso, A. Pomarol, O. Pujolas, M. Quiros, F. Rompineve, E. Salvioni, and A. Wulzer.
This position offers a two-year research appointment in an international high-energy theory setting at a university campus location in Barcelona.
