About this position
The University of Southern California is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate to join the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy, in a translational cancer genomics and experimental therapeutics setting.
The research centers on acute myeloid leukemia (AML), with a focus on identifying and investigating novel therapeutic targets and developing new therapeutic strategies. The lab also studies the immune repertoire of AML patients using TCRseq analysis and aims to leverage these data toward novel neoantigen prediction algorithms, with validation in cellular and animal models.
The role combines laboratory and computational work in a highly collaborative USC research environment. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to immune profiling of clinical samples, cellular, molecular, and in vivo experiments, computational and bioinformatic analyses, and the preparation of presentations and scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator.
The position is designed for a highly motivated scientist who can work independently while contributing effectively to a team-based research program in cancer biology, immunology, genomics, and data-driven therapeutic discovery.
