?? PhD Position:
I am recruiting a new PhD student to begin in Fall 2026.
?? This is a doctoral program in Electrical & Computer Engineering, jointly offered by University of California, San Diego. Coursework will be within the areas of machine learning and AI at UCSD. The research will take place here at SDSU. My research projects focus on:
?? Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep learning applications in water resources engineering, including remote sensing, image processing, etc.
?? Process-based hydrologic and hydrodynamic modeling
Requirements:
? Applicants shall currently reside in the United States or hold valid status/visa to enter the US in the upcoming months given the tight timeline of the project
?? Strong computer programming skills
?? Solid foundation in water resources engineering
