Required qualifications normally include a Master’s degree or equivalent in Special Needs Education, Education, Psychology, Assessment and Measurement, or another relevant field; a Master’s degree of 120 ECTS with at least grade B or equivalent; a master’s thesis of at least 30 ECTS graded at least B; a bachelor’s degree with at least grade C; for 5-year studies, an average grade of C or better for the first three years and B or better for the last two years; and fluent oral and written English and Norwegian or another Scandinavian language. Preference is given to applicants with familiarity with quantitative methodology and mathematical cognition/development. Personal qualities such as independence, teamwork, analytical ability, structured working style, and good communication are emphasized.
