Postdoc Opportunities in Optimisation in United Kingdom

Two Research Associate/postdoc positions are open at the Quantum Software Lab, The University of Edinburgh, on the RubberDUQ project. The project sits at the intersection of quantum computing , quantum software , category theory , and programming languages . Working with Prof. Chris Heunen and the wider QSL team, the successful candidates will investigate the mathematical foundations of hybrid quantum-classical programming and help turn theory into practical tools, including compilers and optimi...

Research Associate opening in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath for a project on operator learning for gradient flows with applications in imaging. The role is associated with a Royal Society International Collaboration Award led by Dr Yury Korolev (University of Bath) and Dr Takashi Furuya (Doshisha University, Kyoto). The project focuses on theoretical analysis and numerical implementation of operator learning methods for gradient-flow-type equations driven by m...

Gamze Gürsoy is hiring a postdoc at the University of Cambridge to work on privacy-preserving human pangenomes . The project sits at the intersection of statistics , graph algorithms , optimization , differential privacy , and computational genomics . This is a research-focused postdoctoral opening for candidates with relevant quantitative and computational backgrounds. The post highlights methods development and genomics applications, making it a strong fit for applicants interested in algorith...
