PhD, Master’s & Postdoc Opportunities in Electrophysiology in Japan

University of Tsukuba’s International Institute for Integrative Sleep Medicine (Izawa Laboratory) is recruiting a fixed-term full-time researcher / postdoctoral equivalent position in sleep medicine , neuroscience , genetics , and related life-science methods. The lab studies the hypothalamic neural mechanisms of sleep and metabolism using experimental animals such as mice. The role involves research work in physiology, histology, genetics, and behavior, with a strong emphasis on experimental an...

National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry (NCNP) in Tokyo is recruiting a part-time researcher/postdoctoral equivalent for the Advanced Brain Imaging Research Department at the Institute for Integrated Brain Imaging (IBIC). The project focuses on neuroscience , especially elucidating brain and spinal cord circuits related to human motor and sensory functions. The successful candidate will measure neural activity in the cerebrum, brainstem, and spinal cord using spinal cord functional imaging ,...

RIKEN is recruiting Research Fellows or Special Research Fellows for the newly established Brain-Body Interaction Research Team at the RIKEN Brain Science Institute in Wako, Saitama, Japan. The project focuses on brain-body interaction and neuroimmune interactions , especially how the brain controls peripheral organs and how social behavior influences subsequent pathogen infection. The lab aims to identify the neural circuits and mechanisms linking the nervous and immune systems, using mouse mod...
